🧠 I’ve been thinking about the paradox of success. Did you know 1 in 3 entrepreneurs lives with depression? It's a jarring statistic that sheds light on the cost of chasing dreams. Running a company has a significant impact on mental health, a fact I know first-hand. Watch me speak about this on Secret Leaders (one of Europe’s top business podcasts, with over 50 million downloads).

📢 Ask yourself:
“How often do I check in with myself, not in a work capacity, but as a human being?”
“Do I recognize my own needs with the same urgency I respond to my work assignments?
“What brought me joy today, aside from my achievements?”
💡The revelation: A lot of high achievers I meet and work with are ‘self-made people’.
By that, I mean they are often different to their families, or have shouldered responsibility early on. History reveals a pattern: 12 US Presidents and over 60% of British prime ministers have been shaped by the early loss of a parent before turning 16. Such formative experiences can foster a remarkable strength but also a solitary journey in leadership. In addition, these individuals are experts in personal sacrifice! But at what cost to their mental health and wellbeing?
The bottom line: Become aware of your blueprint and unconscious drivers before they run you into the ground.
